QT-PLUS® wear life is 3 to 5 times longer than AR400 commodity wear steel.

QT-PLUS® proprietary chemistry and unique thermal heat-treating process produces a premium quality, severe impact and abrasion resistant plate unmatched in the industry. This incredibly tough and hard steel with extraordinary ductility, is produced with tightly controlled carbon levels for ease of weldability, and excellent formability.

QT-PLUS® is alloy rich, and is “true” through-plate hardened… it is supreme quality wear plate, engineered like no other in the world. QT-PLUS® is produced to ISO 9001:2015 certified standards ensuring the highest quality.

QT-PLUS® plates are stocked in thicknesses from 6mm (¼”) up to 127mm (5”).

INCREDIBLE HARDNESS, UNRIVALED PERFORMANCE

CHROMEWELD™ 600 The global standard in abrasion resistant chromium carbide plate. It is a 600 Brinnell chromium carbide plate that is ideal for surfaces requiring high levels of abrasion resistance.

Precision-manufactured with a mild steel (A36) base plate and hardfaced/overlayed with a 600 Brinnell chromium carbide plate, CHROMEWELD™ 600 is a premium grade of chromium carbide plate.

CHROMEWELD™ 600 typical hardness ranges from 58-62 HrC based on weld deposit thickness. The surface of plate is a composite of chromium iron carbides in a chromium austenitic matrix. The surface of the plate exhibits numerous hairline cracks which are a natural stress relieving phenomenon that is essential to the performance of the plate and enable it to be formed, bent, and rolled without damage.

QT-PLUS® plates are stocked in thicknesses from 6mm (3 on 3) up to 38mm (14 on 14).
