Cast Lip Systems

The DecaEdge system employs plane alignment, spade angle optimisation, and improved material placement to reduce total cost of ownership by over 33%

DecaEdge Key Features

The DecaEdge system has been delivering productivity outcomes for our customers for over 5 years. The DecaEdge (DE2559) cast lip launched in 2015 and was a world-first innovation, followed by the DecaEdge (DE2566) in 2017. With over 160,000 combined operating hours and counting, the DecaEdge lips can last for up to 25,000 operating hours with no major rebuilds, resulting in over a 33% reduction in total cost of
ownership of the lip and GET system.

The RazerEdge is specifically designed to improve productivity and reduce maintenance costs through removal of weld-on adapters

RazerEdge Key Features

The RazerEdge cast lip range is designed for 100t to 400t hydraulic mining
excavators. Cast lips are lighter than plate lips, as they are cast in one single piece, requiring less steel. This results in better penetration, enhanced bucket payload and less machine wear. These are the only proven cast lip systems for under 500t machines, delivering maintenance and productivity improvements for 5+ years in all types of applications worldwide.

The Stingray cast lip systems are built for hydraulic excavators 400t and up, fitted on some of the largest excavators in the harshest conditions across the globe.

Stingray Key Features

Designed to deliver the ultimate performance, Stingray cast lips are an ROI-driven way for miners to reduce carbon emissions. Since diesel has a fixed energy density per liter burnt, burning less fuel results in fewer emissions. Stingray is engineered to deliver a 13% reduction in dig energy, saving up to 38 kg CO2e/hr, adding up to 217t CO2e saved annually, all whilst increasing payload and efficiency.
A tried and tested system over the years, Stingray cast lips have been fitted on some of the largest excavators digging the harshest conditions, including Iron Ore, Oil Sands and Lithium worldwide, with a strong presence in South Africa, South America and Australia.

CR Powered by Epiroc’s world-class GET technology enables our partners to reduce the total cost of ownership and improve productivity across their entire underground fleet.

Reduced operational cost through maintenance reduction.

  • Reduced lip repair through increased adapter stabilization
  • Increased production through quick hardware change out
  • Standard mechanical wear protection - Saberlock™
  • Optimized lip shrouds resulting in less throwaway material

G.E.T. Monitoring

GET Trakka provides both immediate GET (teeth & shrouds) loss alarms and the ability to locate lost components on the ground.

GET Trakka was created through extensive research, collaboration, and testing with mine sites. It provides the ultimate solution to detecting broken and lost GET in real-time to prevent crusher events and machine downtime.

Risk Management by Remote Monitoring and Reporting

Real-time GET Trakka dashboard provides remote capability for loss event monitoring and alerts. This means faster response times to loss events and quicker return to production.

Detailed loss event reporting and regular system performance reports provide exceptional insight for optimal GET management.
